Optimization of Gasification Process of Biodegradable Wastes
Elbl, Patrik ; Milčák, Pavel (referee) ; Lisý, Martin (advisor)
The aim of the diploma thesis is to discuss the gasification of biodegradable waste. The theoretical part deals with gasification with focus on gasification phases, types of gasification reactors and pollutants contained in the generated gas, especially tar. Further, there is listed the characteristic of alternative biomass fuels, namely digestate and sludge waste. The practical part is devoted to gasification on a fluidized bed reactor with the aim to test the possibilities of gasification of these fuels, to determine their specifications and the influence of various gasification media. In the final part there are discussed the results of the collected gases and tar.
Nakládání s biologicky rozložitelnými odpady v regionu Náměšťsko
Boturová, Kateřina
The topic of this bachelor thesis is manipulating with biologically degradable waste in region of Náměšť nad Oslavou. The thesis deals with general issues of the biologically degradable waste. The basis is formed by universal descriptions of possible ways of treating the biologically degradable waste and in greater detail it focuses on description principles and process of composting. The main goal is to characterize chosen ways of handling with the biologically degradable waste and to describe one of the chosen method on illustration of practice. The work then deals with legislative setting of the biologically degradable waste and also with its statistical entries. Conclusion of the thesis concentrates on a description of composting plant in Náměšť nad Oslavou. It describes its facility, amount of admitted and processed waste and amount of produced compost. Furthermore, it processes statistic data specifying amount of unwanted additives in compost. It evaluates contemporary situation and its possible effective future solutions.

Processing of biodegradable waste containing raw materials of animal origin into fertilizer substrates: methodology for practice
Usťak, Sergej ; Muňoz, Jakub ; Váňa, Vojtěch
The aim of the methodology is to provide to farmers, agricultural advisors, biogas manufacturers and processors, owners and operators of biogas stations and composting plants, investors and other interested parties, the basic information on the possibilities of hygienic treatment at biodegradable waste containing animal raw materials to fertilizer substrates and the ways of their use. The patented combined method of acid and alkaline biowaste treatment ensures a sufficient stabilization and efficient hygiene of the output product, allowing to be further utilized for composting, biogasification, or for soil application as a valuable fertilizer substrate, as well. A part of the methodology is the evaluation of agrochemical efficiency at output use of fertilizer substrates in the cultivation of selected agricultural crops. The methodology is intended for a wide range of users. The methodology can serve as a basis for the adaptation of technical facilities, technological processes and also as a material for teaching at secondary agricultural schools, agricultural universities or agricultural advisors.

Waste management Karlovy Vary Airport
Sýkorová, Heda ; Mikulová, Vlastimila (advisor) ; Ivana, Ivana (referee)
This bachelor's thesis on the subject of Waste Management at Karlovy Vary Airport is divided into three main parts. The first part presents literary research that comprehensively describes the given issues from the perspectives of the valid waste management legislation of the Czech Republic, the European Union, and Karlovy Vary County. The waste streams of the Czech Republic are described, as well as the existing obligations of treating them. The second part of this thesis focuses on summarising the available information about Karlovy Vary Airport and its waste management. With the help of statistic indicators, the development of waste management in the studied period of 2008 2015 is analysed. The analysis centres on communal and hazardous waste, as well as animal and plant by-products and their handling. The last part of the thesis is partly theoretical, comparing the waste management of the studied territory with other international airports, and includes suggestions for improving waste management as the number of passengers increases.
Utilization of biogas plant for waste management
Frank Kristová, Lucie ; Mikulová, Vlastimila (advisor) ; Ivana, Ivana (referee)
The thesis deals with the use of efficient processing of waste materials in agricultural production i order to obtain thermal and electric energy. The work describes basic terms of the technology of biogas plants - anarobic dry and wet fermentation, biogas, digestate, biomass and energy sources. The study also documented the formation and operation of agricultural biogas plant Bílov in Bohemia, describing the composition and quantity of input substrate and operating parameters. To evaluate the overall status and benefits of a biogas plant for the village was carried out a survey in the area of interest.
Biologicky rozložitelné odpady v městě Tišnově
Suzovičová, Andrea
This thesis focuses on biodegradable waste in Tišnov. The first part is to reveal the basic terms of the issue including the present situation in the selected municipality and described the legislative environment regulating discussed topic. The labor monitor the development of production of biodegradable waste and costs related with their classification and then describes the differences and causes of changes. On the basis of a questionnaire survey is derived public opinion to this topic. In the final step the results are commented and according to the conclusions proposals for improvements are formulated.
Výzkum možností předcházení ukládání biologicky rozložitelných odpadů na skládky
Hlisnikovský, Lukáš
The purpose of this thesis is an elaboration of the methodology of composting accelerators exploitation with a vision to prevent a deposition of biologically waste on a landfill. The thesis consists of three main chapters. The description of the physical and chemical aspects of a composting process and the historical development of a composting technology is a content of the first chapter. Second chapter focuses on the up to date knowledge of compost accelerators. Third chapter describes and contain the methodology, results of experiments and discussion of advisability and suitability of the compost accelerators as a tool which could prevent a biological waste landfilling.
Hodnocení parametrů kompostovacího procesu při kompostování matolin
Dvořáčková, Alena
Diploma Thesis deales with appropriateness of utilization of grape marc as material for composting. There were created three experimental composting starters with different material composition with different content of grape marc and process of the main composting factors was studied. The results show that use of grape marc as material for composting bases is suitable. Study of the size of composting area for processing the waste by composting was compiled on the basis of available quantity of biodegradace waste in cadastral of Mikulcice. Economic evaluation was compiled on the basis of determination of cost items from which the most important were depreciation costs of reinforced area and machines, costs of buying materials, costs of operation of machines and service costs.
